Preferred supplier of sanitiser products & advice to UK’s BQP

We are happy to announce that Roam Technology will be the preferred supplier of sanitiser products and advise to BQP. BQP is recognised as the UK’s leading outdoor pig producer, which has supplied high welfare outdoor bred British pork to the major retailers in the UK for over 40 years. Today, their 5.500 team members operate across sites all over the UK.

BQP is committed to sustainable and regenerative farming. The organisation works in partnership with many UK farmers who share their vision to achieve the highest standards on animal welfare, efficiency, and quality.

It is thanks to this focus on high welfare that Roam Technology and our flagship product Huwa-San TR-50 came in to play. BQP made the decision to make water quality and quantity two of the base measures to improve on farm performance, while also using daily data as a health monitor check. Thanks to our extensive expertise in water quality and disinfection, BQP chose Roam Technology as their preferred supplier of sanitiser products and advice.

BPQ’s decision to start focusing on water quality and quantity will have a huge positive impact on farm performance and the British pig production industry in general.

The following steps in this project are a total blanket water analysis of all UK pig farms, followed by a roll out of Huwa-San TR-50 disinfection on all of these farms. Site visits, training sessions and reporting on results are also planned. This project is followed up by Nigel Bennet, our Global Lead Business Expert Livestock, who has a proven track record as hygiene and disinfection specialist in livestock.
