  • You support, maintain and contribute to the further expansion of our existing export distribution networks for Business line Agro Solutions. Initially focusing on Africa, Central- and South America. Other regions worldwide are also a possibility at a later stage.
  • You are actively present in all sectors within our Business Line Agro Solutions (Agriculture and Horticulture, Livestock and post-harvest)
  • You work very intensively in various sectors: in plant cultivation, from vegetable cultivation to ornamental cultivation and from soft fruit to hard fruit and even tropical (fruit) crops. Besides this you are also very active in all parts of livestock farming.
  • As the first point of contact for the distributors, you support them and their customers with high-quality and tailor-made advice and solutions regarding water quality, general hygiene and the control of pathogens. You do this through frequent consultation and personal visits to the customer.
  • You provide technical advice (for example by taking microbial analyses). You provide the evaluation, reporting and explanation to the customer and you are their first person of contact for all their technical questions.
  • Participating in relevant trade fairs and other promotional events is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You follow trends and developments in the market and respond to them as much as possible.
  • You work within a young and dynamic team and you report to the Business Leader Agro Solutions Export.



  • Bachelor or Master degree with a commercial attitude (Bio-Engineering, Agro-Bio Technology or equivalent through experience).
  • Strong interest in the agricultural sector, water technology and/or treatment.
  • Technical knowledge of cultivation is a strong advantage.
  • Affinity with intensive livestock farming or the vegetable processing industry is a big plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of English is required (knowledge of Spanish and French is an advantage).
  • Willing to travel frequently.
  • Preferably several years of working experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent team player, relationship builder and networker.
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Good advising and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial thinking and acting.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, independent with a hands-on mentality.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive and good organizational skills.
