The Challenge

In daily operations, hydrogen peroxide does not remain perfectly stable. As water moves through the system, decomposition can accelerate due to factors such as temperature, water composition and contact with installation materials. This can result in uneven residual concentrations, under-dosing risks and the need for more frequent top-ups or corrective adjustments. For operators, this reduces predictability and increases operational effort.

The Comparative Test

To objectively compare stability across products, a side-by-side test was conducted under conditions that closely resemble practical use. Solutions with the same hydrogen peroxide concentrations were prepared using tap water to reflect real-world circumstances. The solutions were stored at room temperature and monitored over time. Peroxide concentrations were measured using an SPI meter, with potential measurement deviations taken into account to ensure a fair and reliable comparison.
