Finding the Root of the Problem

Because of the frequent dripper clogging, irrigation wasn’t uniform, and maintenance was becoming a constant worry. At the time, the cherry farmer wasn’t using any product for continuous treatment, so his cleaning method only solved the problem temporarily.

With the help of our trusted partner Royal Brinkman Spain, we assessed the system and determined that the root cause needed to be addressed by cleaning and disinfecting the irrigation system

Huwa-San is specifically designed to keep the entire irrigation system clean, prevent biofilm formation, and avoid the spread of pathogens by helping the water circulate more efficiently through the system. Ultimately, it prevents dripper clogging, a key aspect for any type of crop.

Roam Technology provided support throughout the implementation process and dosage adjustment to adapt to the actual needs of the farm. The Huwa-San TR-50 test strips played a crucial role in monitoring and verifying product concentrations in the drippers

After a couple of months, the change was undeniable. Dripper clogging was significantly reduced, the system gained stability, and water distribution became more reliable and uniform throughout the system.
