Global Product Manager, Agro Solutions

Ester Vandersmissen is our new Global Product Manager Agro Solutions and has immeasurable understanding of the field. She holds a degree in Bioengineering with a specialisation in Crop Protection, and completed her thesis on the biological control of root rot infections in citrus in Vietnam. With a profound background in the agricultural sector, Ester has successfully led teams, oversaw product management and developed purchasing strategies. Her knowledge also extends to regulatory compliance, product development and quality control.

In her role as Global Product Manager for Roam Technology, Ester’s focus will be on the development and management of the Agro Solutions product portfolio, with an emphasis on the horticultural and post-harvest sectors. She will lead market research, analyse trends, and gather customer feedback to optimise our products, while also handling technical support and regulatory compliance. Her management skills and her knowledge of the sector will be a huge asset to the Agro Solutions team.

Technical Sales France, Agro Solutions

Loren graduated from Agrocampus Ouest in Angers (FR) as a Horticultural Engineer, with a specialisation in Seeds & Plants Propagation. During those studies she gained a strong background in areas such as agronomy, biology, chemistry and agroecology. She already has experience in the seed industry, where she managed contracts with farmers and oversaw the cultivation of flower seeds.

Loren is now the new Technical Salesperson for our French team. Here she supports Baptiste Bessette and Matthieu Edmonds. Technical Sales Manager France, Baptiste, is excited about this investment. He said: “Loren’s arrival to the team is excellent news. Her experience in field customer support within the plant sector will enable us to provide high-quality technical support to our distributors and customers and boost the promotion of our Clean-Disinfect-Perform product portfolio.” Loren will be following up and advising customers in her allocated region. Since she is fluent in French and English and knows some German, she’ll be able to connect with many clients and provide solid advice.
