Job description

As International Sales & Business Development Manager, you are helping us build up our further international expansion. In addition to maintaining existing foreign relations, you are developing new markets. You inform, guide and advise existing and new partners / distributors. You work very closely with the QA department and with a product manager who is in charge of technical support. In addition, you will optimize the commercial tools (website, brochures, social media, trade shows, etc.) along with us.

You explore new opportunities in both existing and new export areas by participating in international exchanges, local visits, targeted communications, …

Specific responsibilities

  • Search proactively for new distribution channels within the various sectors in which Roam Technology can be active. Initially, the focus is on water, space and surface disinfection in the agro, livestock and food sectors.
  • Connect with potential distributors to close collaboration contracts. (Price negotiation, logistics and local laws form a crucial part of this negotiation).
  • Technical support and training for new distributors, in accordance with the current Roam approach (guidance & advice).
  • After sales service: take care of daily commercial communication with these customers, in order to maintain and expand the customer relationship.
  • Results will be evaluated and new projects will be discussed during our monthly internal management reports.

Profile description

  • Master of Science in Agro- and Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Bio Engineering Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or equal by experience.
  • You are excited and have a few years of experience as an International Business Developer.
  • Experience in water treatment and knowledge of microbiology is a plus.
  • Experience in agro / cattle breeding is a plus.
  • You work independently and have excellent organizational skills.
  • You have very strong commercial skills (“can-do” mentality).
  • You live not too far from Genk and preferably speak Dutch, French and English.
  • You are willing to travel internationally (max 20%).
  • You report directly to the Belgian Executive Board.
